Zero Waste Nougat Tiramisu Recipe Step by Step
We hope you’ll be inspired to try it and find a delicious and original way to use your leftover Christmas sweets.
Step 1. Place the cream in the refrigerator beforehand so that it is cold and whips easily.
Step 2. For the tiramisu cream, place the nougat in a mortar or pestle and crush it. Once crushed, mix it with the mascarpone by hand or using a blender.
Step 3. In a separate bowl, whip the cold cream using a whisk or a food processor.
When the cream is semi-whipped (a little thick), add the sugar “in small amounts”: add it little by little while continuing to beat/whip until it has the right texture.
Step 4. Combine the two preparations using a spatula or pastry scraper.
Step 5. For the base, soak a piece of sponge cake or similar product with 2 teaspoons of coffee and a few drops of aromatic liqueur such as amaretto, cognac, or whiskey, if desired. Just soak it; don’t let it soak.
Step 6. Plating: First, place the soaked sponge cake in the base of the glass jar and then fill the jar with the tiramisu cream.
Finally, we can decorate the base with pieces of wafers, grated mandarin or orange peel, and/or a little sprinkle of cocoa if desired.
Thanks Ada for your knowledge and inspiration! We tried it and it was delicious!

Preventing food waste in the kitchen
The accumulation of large meals during the Christmas season means that more food is wasted this time of year than during other months. Everyone involved in the food chain is responsible.
