What is a 3R storyteller?
Educational and fun activity
A storytelling session about the 3Rs is a narrative aimed at children where, through an attractive story, environmental values are taught.
It uses animals as protagonists
The characters are animals that show with practical examples how they apply the 3Rs in their environment and how we can do it in ours too.
Promote environmentally responsible habits
Through the story, boys and girls understand the importance of caring for nature and adopting sustainable habits.
Why is it important to explain through a storyteller?

A story transforms abstract concepts into concrete and easy-to-understand situations.
It creates a greater emotional connection.
The stories evoke empathy and allow listeners to identify with the characters.

FAQS
The 3Rs Storytelling activity is an educational tool that teaches the concepts of reduce, reuse, and recycle through stories. This activity uses examples of forest and sea animals to explain these sustainability principles in a simple way.
The 3Rs refer to three key actions to reduce waste:
Reduce: decrease the amount of waste we generate.
Reuse: to use products or materials again to extend their useful life.
Recycling: transforming waste to create new materials or products.
The 3Rs are taught through stories that include forest and sea animals , which allows for a simple and visual explanation of how these principles work and why they are important for the environment.
The aim is to teach the principles of reducing, reusing and recycling in a fun and educational way , helping to create environmental awareness and promote more sustainable habits.
Each storyteller has a fixed price depending on the location and the number of children they will be attending.
In many towns and cities, storytelling can be subsidized thanks to the support of local councils, provincial councils, or intermunicipal associations . For example, in the province of Barcelona, the campaign can be carried out through the Barcelona Provincial Council’s Services Catalogue under the Environmental Education category .
