Since our inception we have believed in the potential of the challenges section of the Go Zero Waste app as a tool to take action.
We wanted to make it grow in line with our values and mission: working locally, forging collaborations and motivating people to take small steps in a personalized and enjoyable way.
For this reason, and inspired by the Duolingo app, we devised a series of challenges that were customizable and adaptable to a specific environment that could offer an improved experience compared to the generic challenges that we had until version 1.2.2 (which are still available).
With Move for Zero! We have created a private space within the app where a city council, company and other organizations can create their own personalized challenges and launch them to a group of specific people: citizens of a town, members of a company or inhabitants and visitors of a certain region.
