1) Diagnosis and Guide to Good Practices:
• A “Guide to Good Practices” was developed to promote responsible consumption in shops, service companies, and among citizens.
• A sustainability assessment was conducted through 182 visits, calls, and emails to local businesses.
2) Digitalization and Challenges (Gamification):
• A challenge and prize campaign was launched through the Go Zero Waste App
. • €1,500 in prizes in the form of €50 gift cards were awarded to the top participants. All gift cards were spent in shops in Premià de Dalt.

What are the benefits of more sustainable consumption?
Adopting more sustainable consumption allows us to transform the current development model into one that respects the planet’s regenerative limits, strengthens the local economy, and empowers citizens by reducing waste and using natural resources efficiently .
✅ Reduction of environmental impact: It is possible to avoid the generation of plastic and single-use waste, in addition to reducing CO2 emissions by prioritizing locally sourced products
✅ Direct economic savings: Practices such as using your own containers allow you to obtain discounts on purchases, while exchange and repair extend the useful life of the products .
✅ Boosting local commerce: Supporting local businesses strengthens the local economic fabric and fosters a more cohesive community .
✅ Promoting the circular economy: Initiatives such as the exchange market, sewing to reuse clothes and bulk sales transform waste into a usable resource.
