Why a campaign to reduce waste and promote local commerce?
A waste reduction and local commerce promotion campaign is essential because it encourages responsible consumption and the circular economy , while revitalizing neighborhoods , reducing the carbon footprint of transportation, and strengthening the community’s economic and environmental sustainability .
