What was done?
In this Moving Towards Zero campaign, we proposed 30 challenges of varying difficulty to all university students.
Some examples of challenges:
1.- Buy an “ugly” fruit
2.- Reuse glass containers to store bulk products
3.- Buy wine in bulk
4.- Listen to a podcast about Zero Waste
5.- Repair a piece of clothing
Thanks to the challenges the students overcame, we were able to promote a change in habits, and the prizes also had a lot to do with the circular economy:
Prizes awarded:
1. Systemic Design Method Guide for Policymaking: A Circular Europe on the Way
2. Good Practices Guide: Systemic Approaches for a Circular Economy
3. Policy Road Map A Systemic Approach for Circular Regions
Thank you to all participants for their efforts and impact!

Why organize an environmental awareness campaign?
An environmental awareness campaign at a university seeks to raise awareness among the academic community about the importance of adopting sustainable and environmentally responsible practices. These campaigns combine actions that can be carried out on campus with actions that can be taken at home or while traveling.
To achieve maximum participation, the following key elements must be taken into account:
✅ Co-create challenges with students, as this will help them take ownership of the campaign and be more motivated to participate and share it.
✅ Clearly define objectives so everyone has the same goal and accurately measure the impact achieved.
✅ These campaigns not only seek to inform, but also to empower the university community to take an active role in environmental protection, transforming the campus into a space for sustainable learning and action.
