What is World Cleanup Day?

World Cleanup Day is an international event that calls on people and organizations from all over the world to voluntarily participate in a collective beach cleanup in their locality or region.

The initiative was born in Estonia in 2008 and ten years later has millions of volunteers in more than 150 countries.

The goal is clear: to organize to clean up the trash in an area, whether it be a beach, a river, a forest, or another natural space.

World Cleanup Day is the largest project organized by Let’s Do It World, which aims to mobilize citizens to create a better world. Sounds good, right?
