Highlights of 2021
📲 We launched a new version of the app in March , improving the challenges section so we can launch campaigns targeted at localities, schools, or businesses.
🚀 Since then, 9 cities and 4 educational centers have launched their Move for Zero! campaign in co-creation with us.
🏆 We have received several awards such as the Circular Innovation City Challenge , Huawei Apps Up 2021 , and Ruralapps .
🤝🏿 We have collaborated and organized more than 30 activities in collaboration with projects and people we admire: Arrels Voladores , Good Karma Projects , Bolseta , Paka , Zero Waste BCN , Espigoladors and Esther Peñarrubia among others. If you want to collaborate with us in any way, do not hesitate to contact us .

News on progress towards Zero Waste in 2021
🗞️ The European directive to reduce single-use plastic came into force in July . Spain is late in implementing it.
🗞️ This year-end, Spain finally passed the long-awaited new Law on Waste and Contaminated Soils: learn about its key points from Antonio Cerillo.
🗞️ In November, a protocol to promote reuse was presented in Catalonia with the involvement of supermarkets and retail associations (Source: Rezero Foundation).
🗞️ Barcelona has launched its Barcelona Zero Plastic Commitment (in which we participated alongside many other organizations in the city).
🗞️ Finally, we want to bring back the high-quality report that El País made on ” The not-so-circular journey of waste ” where they analyze the life of 10 everyday products in a very visual way.
